I am a 29-year-old design professional. I graduated from DCU with a first-class honour’s degree in multimedia.  I am working in Zarion software mixing marketing and product for the past two years. I have recently completed the UX design program in the UX design institute. I am a very creative person and a problem solver. I express this is in my work, my hobbies, and whenever I get the chance.

After getting some experiance in UX desigen during my time in DCU, completing a UX module and doing extensive user resarch and design on my thesis project 'Petrichord'. I decided to complete a professional diploma in UX design in the UX design institute. This combined with  my experiances in Zarion has provided me with a good grounding in UX design. I enjoy working in team environments, my time in Zarion as a part of the marketing team has provided experience of working alongside many different teams in the company to collaborate, learn, and provide input and feedback. This experiece has taught me how to participate and communicate sucessfully in a professional multi team environment.

At my time in DCU I worked closely with a small team of five to create an entire game (Petrichord) in a six-month period. Through great communication, a team effort and playing to each members strengths we managed to create a game that gave us the highest graded thesis in the DCU multimedia courses history.

Throughout my studies, my career, and my free time I express my creativity however I can. I am a musician, game designer, UX designer, graphic designer, video editor and audio engineer, I have taken many roles and always make the most of any opportunity to learn, grow and express myself.

At Zarion I am part of the marketing team and have gained  experiance building my skills in a  professional environment. I have been provided with the chance to work with and learn from industry professionals  in many fields throughout the company. Working with product, software development, professional services and sales as part of my daily routine.

I have demonstrated my diverse set of skills through video, marketing and design work as well as undertaking a UX design course while working.
